ULTRASOUNDS

Most members of our medical team receive ultrasonography training in order to provide first-trimester ultrasounds for our patients. They undergo rigorous yearly training to ensure competency and proficiency.

These appointments are often the first introduction women truly have with their unborn child, and it’s a gift to be present in the room during this time.

This is an opportunity for patients to:

• See their child!

• Check for heartbeat

• Make sure the baby is in the uterus (and that it’s not an ectopic pregnancy, which is life-threatening)

• Determine gestational age to know how far along in her pregnancy she is. This is especially important for those seeking abortion information.
