Michelle’s Story

You know, it’s a real honor when our patients have such positive, impactful interactions with the Modesto Pregnancy Center team that they come back. Again. And again. And again. 

Michelle* first came to Modesto Pregnancy Center several years ago. She was married, a Christian, and her pregnancy was much eagerly anticipated. Unfortunately, she miscarried in the first trimester.  

Michelle then came back to MPC a year later, having taken a pregnancy test at home that again showed positive. She and her husband were cautiously optimistic, excited at the thought of having a sweet child but nervous given the prior miscarriage. 

Unfortunately, she miscarried in the second trimester. 

But Michelle came back to us again, and by the grace of God her third pregnancy resulted in the birth of their child. And when Michelle came back for a fourth pregnancy, she asked about staff members by name, expressing gratitude for those that have prayed for her and cared for her, as she attributes much of her healing to the ministry and her church family. 

And it’s because of our incredible community of donors and prayer warriors that we are a thriving ministry, determined to meet women and families in sometimes dark places with the light and hope found in Jesus.
